Fresenius Medical Care Renal Therapies Group, is pleased to announce the next ADVANCED RENAL EDUCATION PROGRAM® on peritoneal dialysis for physicians, fellows and advanced practitioners. The program "Principles of Home Therapies" will be held the day before the Renal Research Institute's 14th International Conference on Dialysis at The Innisbrook Resort, Palm Harbor, Florida on Tuesday January 24 from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
The ADVANCED RENAL EDUCATION PROGRAM® curriculum is managed by the Renal Therapies Group, Medical Information and Communication division. All educational programs are non-promotional, reference-based and designed to provide both didactic and practical information for nephrologists who are interested in starting a peritoneal dialysis program, as well as those who would like to update their peritoneal dialysis knowledge. This program, Principles of Home Therapies, offers up-to-date information on current and controversial PD topics, and is designed to stimulate discussion among participants on best clinical practices. No CME's will be awarded for attending this program. Fresenius Medical Care does not reimburse for travel related expenses; complimentary meals will be provided during the symposium as per our agenda, however the Massachusetts and Vermont Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturer Code for Conduct Law prohibits medical device companies like Fresenius Medical Care from providing a meal to licensed MA and VT health care practitioners outside the practitioner's office or a hospital setting, therefore participating practitioners from MA and VT must pay a fee of $25.00 to cover the cost of meals.
Register today, program confirmation will be e-mailed for your convenience. We are very excited about this program and the opportunity for advancing PD clinical education.
