Francesco Bellocchio

Francesco Bellocchio is currently a Senior Data Scientist for Global Operational Applied Artificial Intelligence and GenAI department at Renal Research Institute (Fresenius Medical Care). He joined the company in 2012 as Computational Intelligence Specialist. He has an experience of more than 12 years in developing of medical solutions based on artificial intelligence paradigms and statistical analysis for retrospective clinical studies. He has a strong background in processing and analysis of medical data.
He received the M.S. degree in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy, in 2007 and the Ph.D. in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy, in 2011.
Before joining Fresenius, his research activities were focused on Machine Learning techniques for real-time 3D surface reconstruction.
He is coauthor of several publications in both medical and computer science international journals and he has served as reviewer of international journals and conferences.
